If you need to delete a class schedule in Plan2Play, it’s important to understand how the system handles both past and future data related to the class. Deleting a class schedule is a simple process, but it comes with significant effects on the class’s future occurrences and the related information.
Past Data Remains Available
When you delete a class schedule, all past data associated with the class remains intact. This includes:
• Past Classes: Any historical records of the class, such as dates and times, will not be deleted. These records remain in the system for reporting and analysis.
• Participants and Attendance: Information on participants who attended past sessions, as well as their attendance records, will still be available in the system.
• Reservations for Resources: If the class used any resources, such as rooms or equipment, the reservations made for past classes remain available for review. These can be important for tracking resource usage history.
• Staff Assignments: Staff members who were assigned to previous class sessions will still be listed in the history, ensuring that you can track which instructors or staff were responsible for each session.
• Payroll Reporting: For any payroll processes tied to past classes, these records are preserved. Staff payments, timesheets, and other payroll data related to past sessions remain unaffected by the deletion of the class schedule.
Future Classes are Removed
