How to setup your Email for Marketing - Domain Verification

Overview

In order to be able to send out emails on behalf of your organization we will need to verify your domain and the email addresses we will use as senders.

Domain authentication methods:

SPF: This method allows you to specify the mail servers (IP addresses) which can send emails on your behalf. This can be done by publishing the TXT record in your domain's DNS settings.  We will provide you the TXT record or you can provide your account manager access to your DNS and we can do this for you.

DKIM: This is a more advanced method used widely by email service providers. It allows the senders to authenticate their campaigns by including a digital signature in the email header. This can be done by publishing the TXT record in your domain's DNS settings.  We will provide you the TXT record or you can provide your account manager access to your DNS and we can do this for you.

DNS setup usually updates within 24-48 hours. So the verification will be done as soon as the update is complete. To learn how to setup TXT records for your domain, click here.

Authenticate your domain

Next we will need to setup the emails.  Please provide us with the email addresses you wish to have the system send from.  We can authenticate up to 5.  We will need you to verify each email address using the steps below.

  1. To verify your email addresses, login to your email client and open the verification email sent by Zoho Campaigns.
  2. Click the Verify your email address button in the email to complete the verification process.

Note: If you have not received the verification email, please check all the folders / filters in your email client. If you still don't find them, please contact support@plan2play.com
