How to Enable Developer Mode and Install an APK on Android
Before installing an APK, you need to enable Developer Mode and allow installations from unknown sources.
Step 1: Enable Developer Options
- Open Settings on your Android device.
- Scroll down and tap About phone.
- Find the Build number and tap it 7 times until you see a message that says, "You are now a developer!".
Step 2: Allow Installations from Unknown Sources
- Go to Settings > Apps & notifications.
- Tap Special app access (or search for “Install unknown apps”).
- Select the browser or file manager you’ll use to install the APK (e.g., Chrome, Files).
- Toggle Allow from this source.
Step 3: Install the APK
- Download the APK file using the provided link.
- Open the downloaded APK file in your browser or file manager.
- Tap Install and follow the prompts.
- Once installed, open the app and start using it.
Note: Ensure you only download APKs from trusted sources to avoid security risks.
